Stephanie Brooks Chadwell

Attorney at Law

I am a native Lee Countian with strong family ties to this community. Both my parents and grandparents were born and raised in Lee County and instilled in me a sense of pride in my home. I attended Thomas Walker High School graduating as Salutatorian and continued my education at Emory & Henry College graduating magna cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Spanish. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky.

After graduating from the University of Kentucky, I returned to southwest Virginia to serve as law clerk to senior United States District Judge Glen M. Williams in Abingdon. Prior to opening my own office, I practiced law with the firm of Landrum and Shouse, LLP in Lexington, Kentucky. With the desire to serve the community where I was raised, I chose to return to Lee County, Virginia in 2009 to open my own office.

I was raised with a desire to serve my community and to be an active part of making it the best place that it can be for myself, my family and those who call it home.  Since opening my office in 2009, l have represented the residents of southwest Virginia and eastern Kentucky with passion and pride.  Whether you need simple legal advice, help properly resolving a legal issue outside of the courtroom, or an experienced litigation advocate, I can provide the service you need both effectively and efficiently.
